2005 Grey Cup Champs
According to the Gazette Robert Edwards has two cracked ribs and is unlikely to play although Edwards has not ruled it out. That leaves the load to Canada and Quebec's own Eric Lapointe. Lapointe is a former Hec Creighton award winner as the top player in CIS football and certainly looked the part against the Argos.

Edmonton Eskimos
Well we meet again men of the north.
For the third time in four the Als and Esks square off. And the sweetness coming out of Edmonton is a good old fashioned quaterback controversy. Edmonton is saying that Frito Ray will be starting however as seen by this article there is pressure to start No Maas.

All the Grey cups
Some Cup history for you. Here is a list of the number of times a team or city has won the cup:
Team from Toronto - 21
Team from Hamilton - 15
Edmonton - 11
Winnipeg - 10
Ottawa - 9
Montreal - 7
Calgary - 5
BC - 4
University of Queens Golden Gaels - 3
Sarnia Imperials & Saskatchewan - 2
Baltimore - 1
Man do the Riders suck I mean one less cup then Queens (who won there's in the 20's) and Baltimore only had a team for like three years.

Grey Cup
Well we are less than a week away from the Grey Cup, and if you are a true fan of football then you should watch what promises to be an exciting game.
The Grey Cup is always entertaining and usually ends in a shootout unlike the over-hyped under-performing Superbowl.
Just to put all my cards on the table i am going with Montreal and a points total of 62.
I am also going to be posting a daily update about each team for this week leading up to the Grey Cup.
BTW my brother-in-laws band Faster Gun is playing at the Saskatchewan Pavillion check them out if you get a chance.
